The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, with plenty of room and hard wood surfaces. The beds are clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is within walking distance (15 min) to the beach. The wifi was broken but the host was quite responsive and fixed it quickly.

This Airbnb was an absolute dream and very spacious for my family of 8! The location was close enough to drive to the beach and pier, but far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded. The house itself was stunning - a modern design with clean lines and tons of natural light. It felt incredibly spacious and airy, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach and to gather with family. Was easy to entertain with the well stocked kitchen. Aside from the hot tub, the nook was our other favorite place to chill out. Yes, one of the highlights for us was definitely the hot tub. The private patio surrounding the hot tub was a great space to relax and unwind. Andreia was also great! Responsive and helpful, providing us with local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way. Clean, modern, spacious, and amazing!

Absolutely gorgeous home; we didn’t want to anything but luxuriate in it. Well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and fairly walkable, although there isn’t much in the way of restaurants or shops in Montara. The beach is gorgeous though (5 min drive; 20 min walk) and there are some beautiful trails as well. But really staying here is about the house itself and enjoying the space, which we did immensely!

Our recent Airbnb stay was a serene escape, blending modern elegance. The spacious interior, flooded with natural light, exuded warmth and comfort. The hot tub, was a highlight, perfect for unwinding under the stars. Though the lack of privacy in the neighborhood was a minor drawback, and no service on the street the overall experience was awesome. We'd highly recommend this hidden gem for a rejuvenating getaway.

Absolute amazing and incredible stay the house is gorgeous something you see of a movie nestled in a beautiful forest five minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen the host is sweet fast and responsive. The house is perfect just like the photos the backyard was well-maintained, as well as the house, the Jacuzzi was perfect for the cold day. Absolutely recommend this place for you and your family. My children each had their own beautiful bedrooms, my husband and I had a beautiful master suite with an incredible bathroom, the hot tub was immaculately clean (something Andreia assured me of prior to booking), and overall everything was beautiful. This is the perfect family vacation retreat. Prior to booking we had two choices and we took a family vote and this house won --- soooo glad we selected this property! Beautiful, light-filled home in peaceful surroundings. We loved our stay in Andreia's home. The house is architecturally interesting with a wonderful light, high-ceilinged living room. We loved the open plan design. The place is really spacious and there was plenty of room for seven of us to spread out. Everyone enjoyed using the hot tub. The location is great, just a few minutes drive to Montara State Beach and top-class hiking spots. We had a great stay and hope to return again some day.

This was one of the best houses we have ever rented. First off, the house itself is just amazing.Beautiful design. The house was very clean and well stocked. Kitchen was filled with all the dishes, pots and pans and utensils that you could possibly need. Hot tub was very clean and worked well. This is a great house. My family and I enjoyed an awesome one night stay in this architectural beauty. We truly enjoyed the layout and all the kitchen amenities. The pictures don’t show it but the backyard is quite large it has a nice large seating area and grass. We enjoyed the bbq and appreciated how clean the bbq was and that there was sufficient propane. The only complaint I have is the male Karen living next door we were finishing up in the hot tub when it hit 10:00 pm ( quiet hours) we were talking softly and drying off to head inside it was about 10:08 pm when we heard a loud knock at the front door we answered and it was the Nextdoor neighbor saying he hear us talking because he keeps his window open. I would like to say that we are a family of adults and able to keep our voices down and also it was barely past 10. A couple more minutes and we would have been inside. He seems to like to complain. Being that we are guests of the homeowner we just apologized and went our way but i wanted so badly to tell him he was wrong. Besides the male Karen Nextdoor the house was a dream! Thank you :)

Overall it was great. The property manager was unavailable. I couldn’t open the lockbox and it was Friday at 4:00 pm. I called 5 times until 4:30 pm and nobody answered or Ever called me back!!! That was not cool for the amount of money I spent! I could see not get in through the garage. The bathroom with the shower curtain needs a new shower curtain rod or something to secure it! The whole curtain came down during shower’s multiple times. Also the smoke alarms went off every time a person used the downstairs shower and the window was open. Kathy

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It is definitely a hidden gem in this neighborhood, as the surrounding homes do not have the same aesthetic at all. There is very little cell service so make sure to connect to their WIFI for Mapquest, etc before you venture out. I was able to text and Facetime from the house but could not make or receive any regular calls, even when connected to the WIFI. This could depend on your particular cell service provider. The outdoor space is very cool! There is a ton of natural light in this home and the décor is very modern. The smoke alarm was set off twice due to steam from the shower downstairs so be aware in case you like your shower temperature super hot! This was easily remedied by opening the windows. There is a ton of space in this home for many people to spread out. One bedroom downstairs and three (including the master) upstairs. There is a downstairs TV room as well as an additional TV room upstairs that includes the washer and dryer. Note there are not any TVs in any of the bedrooms. There are lots of great nearby restaurants and several easily-accessible beautiful beach spots within a short driving distance. This area did not feel touristy at all - Very relaxing. We would definitely return.

Andreia was a great help. I contacted late because I arrived at my original AirBnb, and it was not how it was described. It smelled of cat urine, and the place was filthy. I contacted Andreia and asked if I could rent her place ASAP. She immediately messaged me back with a special for my troubles at the original place. Once I got to her place, the pictures didn't do the place justice. It was breathtaking. I would rent her place over and over. I'm already planning another trip from Florida to stay at her place again with family. 5 star accommodations all the way.

The hot tub was a nice bonus. Comfortable for 8 adults and one pre-teen (who slept on the couch in the bonus living space, upstairs). Short drive to hikes, beach, and tide pools. We had an amazing stay!!! The house is just as beautiful as the pictures, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and everything was clean. Montara Beach was fantastic, even in chilly weather. We loved walking around and looking at the houses in the neighborhood, though we found the beach to be a little bit too far to walk to with 2 young kids, so we drove. The hot tub was awesome (though the controls were a bit tricky to figure out). We would definitely stay here again. A tip for future renters: if you take a shower in the downstairs bathroom, be sure to put the fan on or you might set off the fire alarm! A tip for future renters coming with a young infant: the master bedroom has a very large walk in closet that’s great for setting up the pack n play in!

Absolutely stunning home with incredibly kind hosts :) would be honored to stay again Home/Check In: We checked in at night in the middle of a rainstorm (series of unfortunate events) but the process itself was seamless. The home is a really interesting blend of 70s and modern- think concrete, beautiful wood, and flora. We got rained in a few days but hardly noticed, since everything was so cozy. Neighborhood: The neighborhood is quiet, but a bit removed from shops and about a 15-20 minite walk to the beach, but coastal towns are pretty close by car (Montara is sort of a coastal suburb, a bit more rural than Half Moon Bay). We had some issues initally with the downstairs TV, but Andreia and team were incredibly helpful in resolving and had s great response time. And that master bedroom?! Amazing. Highly recommend to any and all- great value for what you pay.

I had a wonderful time here. It's a great house for practicing photography because of all the natural light in practically every room. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. The beds were comfortable (gel pillows in the main bedroom were amazing). The hot tub works well. The home was always a comfortable temperature. The WiFi was great -- as others have said, you can't access the internet at all via cellular network, so have the WiFi password ready as soon as you walk in the door. There are some privacy issues with the layout of the home, but they're very minor. Because there are no curtains on the front windows, you feel very on display to neighbors walking past with their dogs, etc. I will probably come back here at some point. The area is a little sleepy, so this is a great location for a retreat where you plan to spend most of your time at the AirBnB.

Andreia and team reached out before our check-in to inform us and they provided another beautiful location, on the ocean, to stay in until the power came back on a few hours later. Magic Montara! Andries’s home is exactly as pictured on the site, but so much more homey and spectacular in person. The attention to detail in every asoect of the home is exquisite and is set up for guest comfort. There is so much space for everyone to spread out and have some quiet time and just as much space for gathering together. The heated floors kept us warm and cozy and the hot tub was the perfect way to end (and begin) our days! The location between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay could not be better and beautiful Montara beach is 3 mins down the street. The home sits in a quiet neighborhood graced by a spectacular tree in the front yard that is visible from nearly every window in this home. Andteia wqs easy to communicate with and clearly wants her guests to love her home as much as she does. Our stay in this gem was warm, welcoming and wonderful. A magical time in Montara!

Spectacular stay in this unique and lovely home. Exactly what our family needed to enjoy the days leading up to our daughter’s wedding nearby. Andreia is a kind and responsive host, she clearly wants her guests to love her home as much as she does. We surely do! The location in a quiet neighborhood between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay offered us the balance of calm and beauty - the beach is two minutes away- with all grocery stores, cafes, etc also close by. The best of both worlds. Thank you, Andreia, we miss waking up to your fabulous tree which graces the front of the home and can be seen from nearly every window.

The house is beautiful, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. It looks exactly like the photos. I stayed here with 3 other people in my company for a work offsite. It’s a good place to hunker down and work - but not a ton outside of the property (which was fine for us). The neighboring houses (and a lot of the neighborhood) are kind of run down, though. Andrea was helpful in identifying some places where my team and I could eat dinner and work nearby. There is no cell service at all In the house or the entire neighborhood. So you’re completely dependent on the house wifi while you’re there. Check in and check out times are pretty strict.

Absolutely loved my time here! As clean, spacious and beautiful as advertised- my guests loved it and the space was perfect for a calm/quiet retreat. Also love the layout - adds to the spaciousness as some guests may sleep while others enjoy time in either TV room. A quaint castle by the coast! The house was awesome! So clean, stylish and comfortable. The location is the best. There were few things: hot tub smelled dump, as well as the master bathroom. It seems that the bed linens in one of the bedrooms were not changed because they smelled weird. Overall the stay was great: clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Would stay there again and recommend my friends.

It was so welcoming and cozy...hard to actually leave it and do stuff outside! I'd go back to this area just to stay in this house again, it's that nice. Hot tub was great, the beds and duvets were so comfortable, the space was well laid out and inviting. Make sure you have the email with wifi password available before you get to the house. There's no reception in that area!

Beautiful architectural home with a minimalistic design. Had more than enough room for my group of 10. Conveniently located and only within minutes drive of shops / restaurants. Indoor parking for 2 cars was great and had enough space for another car on the drive way. The hot tub was a nice touch too! On to the minor cons: Had a couple of spiders /cob webs around the house when we arrived, which is to be expected as the house is surrounded by nature. Master bathroom shower clogged and caused a leak on the downstairs bedroom during our first night BUT host was very quick to respond and had plumber / cleaning person there within an hour or two. Check in and out was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay overall and would definitely come back again. Thanks for the hospitality!

A wonderful getaway for the family! The location is perfect, it's minutes away from the beach and hiking trails, and a short drive to Halfmoon Bay. The house itself feels like it should be featured in Architectural Digest. The interior design is modern and well thought-out, making the place feel cozy despite being quite a large space. That being said, the house is well insulated and stayed warm in the coldest of winter days, as I am sure it will also be cool come summer. The bedrooms and living rooms were all comfortable, and if you like to cook; the kitchen will be a joy. I cannot recommend this place enough. So much soo perhaps a stay here should be considered an experience instead.

The space would be great for a larger group though it was very comfortable for our party of two. We highly recommend the Ocean View Café which is less than a mile away on foot.

This house was amazing, honestly I was a bit surprised at how much better it was than the pictures made it look. It's very close to a ton of different trails and beaches, with even more just a short drive down the coast. The space itself is very big and open, but still feels pretty cozy in the different living spaces. The hot tub is great, and the master bathroom looks straight out of an interior design photoshoot. All-in-all the experience was excellent, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming yet modern abode. The quality of the craftsmanship and woodwork was breathtaking. The layout was particularly well-thought out, accomplishing the nearly impossible task of having a modern, open concept layout with enough private nooks for individual activities as well. Our kids loved the upstairs too, where they could use the media room next to their bedrooms while the parents relaxed in our own family room downstairs. The design is also superb, with thoughtful touches creating a feast for the eyes. We especially loved the semi-circular window seat in the front of the house, which was large enough to fit our whole family of 6 for a photo op. And we were so pleased to find the floors and surfaces meticulously clean, which enabled us to walk around barefoot without an issues. Food was easy to buy in nearby Pacifica, and there were plenty of delivery options via Grubhub. The beach was several blocks away, uncrowned despite it being a beautiful fall weekend, and thoroughly relaxing. We truly recommend this gorgeous home!

Beautiful home in a location reasonably close to the beach. We ran into an issue with the heater that was very slow to work (over 5hrs made a 1 degree difference to the home). It was so bad that we asked for 5 space heaters in order to warm the space in order to sleep. I would say this is a decent place to stay, just definitely not worth 1800$/night. At that price point you expect more luxurious amenities and basic things to work well.
