Truly a gorgeous house. Amazingly details, gorgeous furniture - so much light and air and views. And the kitchen is fabulous. Here's my one *very small* issue: You advertise a basketball court in the property description and there's a photo of it in the pics but the backboard and net weren't there (post is still in the ground though, so maybe it's being replaced?) - Anway, we had a few moments of a rather disappointed seven year old boy who was promised some basketball - but - he got over it pretty quickly when I broke out the whiffle ball that we had brought instead. And it rained on Tuesday - so no missed opportunity there. All in all - this place is more beautiful than advertised.

The house was as advertised, plenty spacious and accommodated our party of 12 easily with room to spare. The kitchen was easy to cook in and well appointed for full meals (minus a pancake spatula) We had a one off issue that was completely unforeseen for us and the host. While Sandra did respond to each message, the time to respond in our situation left a lot to be desired. Sandra and her team did find a solution but it took a while.

We needed a place for a large gathering of friends. This place was perfect. We had a lovely time. We cooked food and had dinners. We talked and played games in the living room. The linens were nice. We had 5 couples and 2 infants. It rained so we couldn’t use any of the outdoor spaces. Furniture is modern and beautiful. Host very responsive. Note that the bathroom setup is unique because all bathrooms except the bottom floor bathroom are in bedrooms so people have to be ok w folks going through to use or walking to the ground floor. We all knew each other so we were ok. Belen

I've been gone over 17 years and came back to San Francisco last year. As a gift, I picked this place and one of my friend paid in full. This Oasis, This place is just as described. This property was literally sparkling clean. We loved the well-appointed kitchen and, Excellent location, only 20 minutes from SFO, providing a perfect base camp, or beautiful drives to nearby Half Moon Bay and the City. We had a wonderful time, lots of room for us 6 boys. We range in age from 67 to 72 and did fine. We enjoyed our short stay in this very private, spacious home. Thank you Sandra!

Lovely house and a lovely location - close to hikes and the beach and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked, the place clean and checkin was easy. Basketball net was broken when we got there which was sad for the kids. We booked this place before there were any reviews, so in case the description doesn’t change, the bathroom situation is weird. Not all rooms have a bathroom and the only common bathroom is on the lowest level. Someone needing the bathroom in the middle of the night going from 3rd floor to bottom floor isn’t optimal. Overall, it’s workable but a bit weird.

This home is a peaceful getaway and quite comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there are plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The views are beautiful. There are hiking trails within walking distance. Half Moon Bay is a short drive for many restaurants, cafes, breweries, and a cute downtown.

We recently booked Sandra's place for a work retreat and it was just what we needed. The house had plenty of space for our group to spread out and work, with a nice big dining table that was perfect for group brainstorming sessions. And for the evening, we had plenty of alternate large spaces to hang out in. A lot of places you work, eat and relax in the same spot. This was not the case here. The bedrooms were comfortable, and it was nice to have several bathrooms so we weren't all competing for shower time in the mornings! The kitchen was also great - had all the pots, pans, and dishes we needed to cook up some good group meals after long days of work. The change of scenery from our usual office was refreshing. Even though we were "working," it felt more like a relaxed vacation. I'm already looking forward to booking this place again next year!

Our group really enjoyed staying at this home! The house was beautiful and it was super comfortable, but the only thing was the lack of ventilation (it should be fine on cooler days). Also, it was great staying in a more peaceful neighborhood but still being near beaches and other restaurants/fun things.

Spacious and modern accommodations for our large family gathering. Only surprise was that there was only one small common bathroom on the first level which has one bedroom next to it. The living/kitchen room is on the second level. The two other bathrooms were en-suites on the second and third level, so there isn’t much privacy. Overall a nice large cabin in the woods type of environment, that felt like a mini-retreat.

We really enjoyed this spot. From the serene surroundings to the space, we had a great visit to one of our fav spots with our family without the hassle of multiple rooms and coordinating meals. This home is beautiful and spacious, close to everything and a place I could see us coming back to again and again.
