Beautiful home with easy walkable access to beach. Pros: decorated in a beautiful coastal minimalist style. Beach a short walk from home and a peak view of the ocean from the upper deck. Nicely landscaped property next to open space for privacy on one side. Well appointed kitchen. Cons: restrictions on guests visiting and leaving animals unattended (needs to be stated in their listing) makes it difficult to fully enjoy. We were given a clearance for two guests so that was helpful since we wanted to have people for dinner. All said, we would definitely stay here again so even the cons didn't make a big difference in how much we enjoyed this home.

We had a fantastic week at this gorgeous HMB home. It’s in a great location, a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, and a short walk to the beach and Coastal Trail. The house is well-decorated, spacious, clean, and cozy, and our dogs loved the fenced-in backyard. We would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay. The location is close enough to San Francisco that I could go to meetings during the week and my wife and I could enjoy a long weekend beforehand. Its just a block from the Coastal Trail for a relaxing walk along the ocean. Half Moon Bay is quaint - don't expect a bunch fancy restaurants or shops. If you are looking for a peaceful escape this is it.

This house really felt like home away from home. The backyard is wonderful for the dog. Everything was very clean very well remodeled as well. I sometimes travel with my nervous dog and also elderly parent with Alzheimer’s. It felt very much like home for me and for them as well. Just a lovely home, excellent location, cozy, comfortable and made the whole family happy. We also celebrated a birthday party for my son. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will definitely choose this place again and recommend it to friends and family.

The place is very nice and well furnished. Setting is serene and would definitely recommend Half Moon Bay. Check in was extremely challenging for us, and communication with both the host and Air BnB was frustrating and poor. We arrived at a very reasonable time of 5pm, but did not gain access until nearly 8pm due to an issue with the lock and unresponsiveness across the board. We also had issues with the kitchen, including a broken disposal and clogged sink. Maintenance was prompt, but the issue was still unresolved when we checked out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All beds and linens were comfortable and first class. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk from the house. Beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed off the front deck with a beautiful fireplace fixture. Definitely will be back.

We enjoyed a long weekend with extended family. The house was perfectly appointed and great for hosting a group. Plenty of room for everyone with a big backyard and an outdoor deck with a fire table. We took advantage of all of the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and three bathrooms made it easy for us to get up and out of the house to explore Half Moon Bay. We loved the proximity to the beach and the coastal trail. Very relaxing, quiet neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property.

Great location and just a 1-2 min walk to the sandy beach. Gentle surf sounds while sitting at the upper garage deck. Easy drive N or S to harbor area and HMB restaurants. Place has lots of space and a big kitchen w/a good supply of cooking utensils. Home is located at the far end of a dead-end lane and is directly adjacent to a public beach access walkway. Didn’t meet Sandra, but she provided excellent communication during our stay.

Sandra’s place was perfect for our family. It was very, very clean and stylish with lots of room to spread out. It felt cozy at the same time. We were able to walk to the coast trail and the beach was just a few blocks away. The kitchen was well set up and the beds were very comfortable. We loved it!

This place is a gem for anyone wanting to visit Half Moon Bay. Sandra was a terrific host and responded quickly answering my questions and making us feel welcome. The house is extremely clean, with all the necessities and more. The beds are comfortable, the view is wonderful, the fire pit is luxurious, and there is a great backyard for hanging out and spending time with the pups. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood and centrally located.

This is my favorite place! If you’re a fan of the Konmari method it hits the note of each item “sparking joy.” Every piece in the home is thoughtful, from the white steak knives, to the little marble coaster stands, beach blankets ready to go. This is a place you’ll want to cook. The pans and dishes aren’t crappy Airbnb sets, rather ones you’d use at home. We barely left the house outside of walking to the beach. Just cooked and relaxed all weekend, my husband watched football. We will return there for sure.
