We had our girls trip for a single night at Sandra's place. The house is beautiful and cozy. Very close to a lot of good restaurants and stores. The neighborhood did not feel busy enough to feel safe and there was a car alarm going off a few times in the night from the nearby church parking lot. Though, we had a comfortable stay with no interruptions. We were very eager to use the Hot tub but could not get a response from the host on checking about backyard lights. That was a bit disappointing along with the rain as Hot tub does not have a roof covering. House itself is very well maintained and would appear to be more fun when it's not raining. It has a good front yard with cozy furniture set up and a bright beautiful tree with RED leaves.

One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. So cute and beautifully put together, with lovely outdoor space. Being steps from Main Street was amazing, as was being walking distance to the beach. There was a bit of noise at night from the church across the street but I think it was just because of the holidays. I will absolutely come back!

Highly recommend this property to couples or couples with 1 small child. Lots of amenities, great location, super quiet and close to historic Old Half Moon Bay. Would stay here again in a heart beat.....the negatives were: living room couch and 2 chairs were not real comfortable. The 2 bedrooms were light, could use some black-out curtains or liners for the existing curtains. Those were the only "cons". Was a great property!!

Nice and clean home. Its definitely not within walking distance of the beach and bicycle rentals were 75$ a day which were more than we expected. The area is quite except on trash day when we had 3 trucks arrive in an hours time at around 530am to 630am. Everything worked except the Ice maker on the fridge. We did like being close to a cafe/bakery and the downtown area.

The house was so great! It was charming, clean, and spacious enough for our group of 3 (could easily fit 4). Everything was easy from check-in to getting a quick issue resolved. The one little issue we had was addressed and taken care of so fast! All the amenities mentioned on the site were there and even some extra touches like bath robes. The other thing to note is the location, it was walking distance to the main stretch of town (dinner, coffee, etc.) and walking distance to the beach (though we rented bikes and/or drove to the beach). Great location, cute, and extremely comfortable.

Very nice small house very close to downtown Half Moon Bay with multiple beaches nearby for hiking, exploring and braving the cold water. My family made it a base for many excursions, from Monterrey to San Jose, redwood forests and the San Francisco area. All had a great time.

Had an amazing long weekend girls getaway with my high school besties, whom I've known for over 30 years. The location was quiet but within walking distance to Main Street, clean and comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the basics such as salt, pepper, oil and spices for cooking as well as coffee! It was a perfect place to catch up with some of my dearest friends - would definitely recommend and we certainly hope to go back.

Adorable! The cottage is lovely. Very clean, perfectly decorated, and lots of space to spread out. The front garden and backyard are so peaceful. The mattresses and bed linens are so comfortable that I actually took photos of the tags so I can purchase for my home. The W/D is a win. Hot tub very well maintained. Everything perfect. Walked to town (1 block) for meals. Can't wait to stay again!

The fine line between admirable vintage and old hand me down was very well straddled here. We admired just about every nook and cranny of this two bedroom (w/pull out couch) and 1.25 bathrooms. I suggest letting the host know you’ve arrived via the app. We did note staff let themselves into the storage in the backyard from the adjoined fence from the Inn, but it was fine, just mostly a little startling but very much an indicator of the vibe of the area. Proximity to downtown/Main St was the greatest perk (3min walk) since we had plans to hang out there on one of the days. Otherwise, we hung tight in the house laughing and playing games or in the hot tub and around the outdoor fire pit. The fireplace had an amenity that we never figured out but the preset glow of the fireplace was all we really needed. We ended up casting the sad warriors second round elimination game via apple mirror feature to the tv. We had the benefit of a really sunny day so the back and front yards were magical.

The location was perfect for walking to downtown HMB too. Sandra was a great host! Super clear and easy instructions for our visit. She was also super responsive when I reached out with a couple questions. We hope we can come back again soon!

Such a beautifully decorated home! Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub and terrycloth robes provided. We did not use the fire pit or bbq. Front and backyard areas were fenced, great for my grandson. The location was great! Just a couple of blocks to downtown restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this home and would return again.

Sweet little spot to stay in Half Moon Bay! We had such a fun getaway with the kids here (age 5 and 10). Everything we needed. Cute, cozy and close to old town. Great restaurants and shopping close by and about a mile from the beach. The hot tub was amazing, brand new and clean. The kids enjoyed it, as did we. Beds were very comfy and house was quite at night with the exception of a party at the church across the street, which didn’t bother us at all. Loved the layout of the house, small but perfect for a family of 4. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hot tube in the backyard gave us great relief and comfort after hiking along the coast of Half Moon Bay which is a bit over half a mile away. Also, Sandra the host is very responsive.
