The place was very nice, the view was amazing of the ocean and it was close to HMB- drivable. We did have an issue with the hot water and plumbing but Andreia sent people over right away to fix both. The only other complaint was not enough towels or toilet paper for our group for the weekend. Would recommend though.

This beach house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The house is much larger than the pictures suggest and there was plenty of room for our three families. The older kids had a secluded area to hang out and be loud. The kids used all of the large backyard space which was perfect for us. The beach was a bit further than we anticipated which was separated by a busy highway. We ended up driving because of the little ones. The few items that we had issues with were full garbage cans upon arrival so we had no space for our garage and a lack of garbage bags. Luckily we brought groceries so we had something to put our garbage in. The other issue was the hot tub. It was dirty upon arrival and we were unable to use it the first night. Andreia had someone out the next morning but it was dirty very quickly even though we were diligent about everyone showering before getting in. There is clearly something off with either the chemicals or the pump/filter system.

Well situated at the tippy top of Half Moon Bay (technically El Granada) this house is perfectly located a few minutes walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and shops including a small but high quality market with deli/prepared foods and good cheeses. The house works well for multiple families especially when kids can play in the spacious and flat (and fully fenced!) backyard. We had several adults working during our trip and had no issues with WiFi or space. The ocean view hot tub is perfect for those foggy mornings and evenings. Bonus that the house is dog friendly and your furry pets can come along on the trip.

What a beautiful and relaxing location! For this trip we were a group of moms looking to get away and recharge. We had amazing weather for our trip and especially enjoyed the spacious backyard and large kitchen. While we were a group of 9, we were there to relax, not party. This house is in a neighborhood and we were careful about the quiet hours. One night we got takeout BBQ from the restaurant two doors down, it was delicious. I would definitely come back to this home!

The house and location (ocean view and walking distance) was great. The size of the yard was huge and enjoyable. We wished the hot tup was cleaner, it had excessive foam and a brown ring. We also wished the garbage was removed before our arrival, it was a huge mess with skunks getting into it at night.

The place is spectacular; super tidy and well appointed; perfect for a short retreat. Andreia was incredibly communicative; especially when we were being noisy and didn't realize it. She contacted us and we quieted down ( how easily it is to forget how voices can carry at night). She was polite but direct and we respect that. We now know better for next time. We wholeheartedly recommend you spend your next Half Moon Bay excursion here! You won't be disappointed.

This is a perfect spot for a reunion. It is spacious, both inside and out, and offers a hot tub and outdoor space with ocean views. Gave us all the feeling of calmness and enjoyment. The sunsets are remarkable! Within walking distance is an excellent BBQ restaurant and coffee shop and the ocean itself (must cross highway).

We stayed here for a long weekend with a few families. There was plenty of space for us all without feeling on top of each other. It was nice to have the hot tub and yard games (the backyard is huge!) The beach is a quick 5 minute walk and there’s a few restaurants within walking distance. Definitely the perfect place for what we were looking for.

Fantastic place! The home was very clean, great to have a bunch of family or friends. Their Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dish ware, cookware, cutlery, etc. so if you like to cook your own meals on vacation, it’s great. The space outside is enormous, and felt very much like our own private park in the backyard. The hot tub was great and easy tips use.

11 women celebrating a 60th birthday in this lovely home across the highway from the bay. Close to everything. Noticed a few ants in the bedrooms, but cleaned them up first night. Only issue was back bathroom toilet and shower not draining by end of weekend. Owner responded immediately and got someone out to repair. Things happen, so appreciated the immediate response. Would definitely return.

The Wave House was a perfect place to enjoy our high school reunion weekend. The location was near the reunion location at the Mezza Luna (also perfect) in Princeton. Big back patio to Happy Hour and Taco Bar the first night. Huge kitchen table for group breakfast and then a short walk to the beach and beer garden. If you have a group of buddies/couples you want gather together- This is the place to make memories!

The house itself was beautiful and spacious. The host Andrea was easy to reach and very responsive. The only downside we experienced was: 1)There were several commercial vehicles parked out front which made it difficult getting in and out of the driveway. 2)The first day we arrived, we found dirty sheets on two of the beds, however, since there was a washer/dryer included, we spent our first day washing linens for all the beds. Other than that, it was a gorgeous clean home, with a spacious backyard, and the walk to the beach was a plus! Many great memories were made in this beautiful property.

House is spacious and can accommodate a large group. We enjoyed sitting out back looking at the ocean. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s on a busy street so there’s often cars going by but the neighborhood is walkable and it’s close to a local grocery mart. It’s close to restaurants. Property manager was responsive when called about a water leak and trash issue. Hot tub was a nice feature. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and glasses. We could’ve used some kitchen towels and pot holders but made due with bath towels. The back yard is fenced so perfect for a dog or young kids. It would be a nice setting for a small wedding or family reunion.

We were sorry to leave such a beautiful place, but lucky to enjoy it and the beautiful weather.
Positive: Property was even nicer than photos. Bright, spacious, beautifully decorated, well maintained and stocked, except, inexplicably, for kitchen towels as mentioned in other reviews. Separate areas to hang out and watch tv. Layout is a bit inconvenient as Master bedroom and bath are not adjacent and there is a step to watch out for during the night. The backyard is huge and great for grilling, dining and relaxing in the hot tub. There is a basketball hoop, but no basketball. Overall, it is a beautiful place in a great location for beach and restaurants. We would definitely stay again. Negative: Difficult to find lock box. Hard to see if you arrive in the dark.

We loved our stay at this home. I️ traveled with my husband for our wedding weekend and a few of our friends. The home is gorgeous, with a stunning backyard and beautiful views. There is a half pipe near by for skating, a two minute walk to the beach, and plenty of space to enjoy in the backyard which contains lovely furniture & a hot tub. My husband and I️ can’t wait to stay here with friends again at some point! I️ will say that this is not home for large groups who intend on having late nights. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with quiet hours that begin at 10pm. We loved our stay and can’t wait to get back to half moon bay!

We wanted a memorable place to stay for our daughter as we dropped her off to school and we couldn’t have chosen a better scenery or accommodation that will last her the lifetime. What an amazing view, locale, rooms, backyard, jacuzzi, hammock seats, the whole works. Grandma who also came with us, who has travelled all over Europe, was mesmerized by the Cali coast weather and the accommodation we provided her with. This was what we needed for a perfect vacation. It’s perfect to to go visit San Francisco only 40 min drive. It was very clean and well taken care of perfect to just go and relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the huge backyard. I will definitely be back again, it was the perfect get away.

Our group large group really enjoyed our stay at this beach house, and it was nice we could include our dogs!! What a treat to find a large pet friendly beach house. The location and views were wonderful and the kids loved the hot tub. Our group had a great time and there was plenty of room to accommodate us all. Everything was clean and the furnishings were beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and we loved the coffee and tea station. Overall a great place to stay - I would highly recommend!

My family had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was excellent. We were within walking distance to the beach. The kids were able to dip their feet in. We walked around the rocks and watched the wind surfers. On one of our walks we stumbled upon a great BBQ restaurant and Boutique a few streets down. The owners were friendly and were available if we had a questions. Top of the line with communication! We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Andreia’s house was perfect for what was needed! We comfortably fit 9 guys in there for a long weekend. The kitchen, living room, and backyard space made for awesome gathering areas. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The hot tub worked well and we even were able to utilize a few lemons from the tree in the backyard! It’s a little disconnected from the rest of Half Moon Bay, but still a few solid spots within walking distance and everything else was a quick walk!

Andreia’s place was beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. Lots of room for our party of 9 that included 3 kids under 8. The backyard was so big and allowed the kids to play and for us to hang out and enjoy the view of the coast and those perfect sunsets. Very walkable to Village Harbor, Sams Chowder and a couple coffee shops. About 10 minute drive to downtown half moon bay which was adorable and fun. Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms had everything we needed. (Only thing we didn’t find were beach towels) *One thing to note - while we were very close to the water - I thought from the pictures the beach was literally on the other side of the backyard fence where we could step out onto it. However, you do have to walk through a parking lot and cross over PCH and then head down the path a little to get to a place to get to the sand. A bit harder with kids and such but still very close but just not attached or directly behind the house. All in - it was a great stay.

We absolutely loved the house! The backyard was incredible and we spent the vast majority of our time back there hanging around. The beds were super comfy, and the house was spotless upon arrival. The house is just a short walk away from the beach, and we made sure to take advantage! Overall, my party and I loved Andrea’s house and would highly recommend it to others!

This is an amazing beach rental. It is much larger than it appears in the photos and has the appearance of being brand new in every regard. Everything is modern, tidy, and clean. The linens and beds are very high quality and comfortable, and the bedrooms feel private, and spaced away from each other. For our rental for 3 families with kids (all girls), it worked perfectly, with the kids all sleeping in the tv room (which they loved.) The location is amazing, so many great places to visit nearby. We bought fresh fish from the docks at the harbor to the right of the house. There are restaurants and stores nearby. We visited in November, and the skies were clear and sunny all day, a little chilly at night, and amazing sunsets to watch from any of the outdoor areas. I could not recommend this Airbnb any higher. It is absolutely perfect.

Lovely house, we loved our stay here. It was clean, neat, modern and just delivered everything we were hoping for and more. Everything you can think of was at the house. We were never left wishing for anything that wasn’t there. The backyard is amazing and we enjoyed access from the back gate towards the ocean. The house is well lit, with easy parking and a great layout . The kitchen has all the amenities you can expect and more and with easy access to the backyard. Great home.

Amazing home! It was beautiful! No detail left unchecked! Super high end appliances and bedding! Awesome tv room with a huge smart tv that blocks out all the noice if you have children awesome stay! The views & huge backyard with a hot spring top of the line spa! Super clean & so well stocked! Close to so many things! It ended up being 3 adults and a 6 yr old and we had so much room but house is big enough for a bigger group if you use the extra huge tv room that has two small beds and 1 sofa sleeper we used this as our hang out room. It was one of those stays that exceeds all expectations we were able to get some wonderful food at Barbara’s fish fry, some to go made drinks for us at half moon bay brewery, & Safeway is also super close so we got to be able to just chill at the house & really enjoy it after our walks on the beach that is just across the home. At night we got to watch some scary movies in the huge movie room while our son was sound asleep super well insulated walls and enjoyed the best food the Jacuzzi was also wonderful! Such an amazing weekend we’re so grateful that Andreia was able to share the house with us! Absolutely amazing! So many pumpkin farms in the area also this month of October.

Andreia's place was absolutely amazing! the photos don't do it justice, it is even better in person. the back yard / patio is so beautiful, and perfect place to enjoy meals and throw a Frisbee with the ocean view. 1000% recommend staying here, Andreia is super responsive and helpful with everything. we hosted a weekend getaway for some student volunteers, and they loved it. such a memorable experience!

The house is a beautiful and updated getaway from everyday city life! Every room is set up beautifully, everything was clean, and the backyard was a wonderful place to hangout for the entire family. Having easy access to the beach, and being so close to the half moon bay shopping area makes it an ideal place to stay. The host was very helpful, responsive, and was available to us right from the beginning.
