Coffee maker and hot water pot was great for ingle cup coffee and hot tea which were all furnished. We will be back from our home in Rocklin. Ps had so much fun playing ping pong

This property was larger than what we normally book for two adults and one dog but we really enjoyed the extra space, especially the kitchen area. The location was close to our favorite beach and the downtown area, but on the negative side, the property is right next to the very busy highway and a stop light. While we realize the host has no control over the traffic, deducted one star because of the noise.

This property is small but perfect for 4 adults. More seating in the living room would have been nice. The couch seats 3 not 4. One person had to sit on the dinning table chair. Couch has stains. Kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom had active black ants. It must be a ongoing issue since there were traps set out for them. Traps also in the kitchen. Property it limited to 2 vehicle parking. If garage is used to park it must be a small vehicle or you will have a difficult time getting out of the car. No street parking available. The house is a duplex. The other half was not occupied at the time so we didn't hear anyone walking around above us as others mentioned on other reviews. Traffic noise from Highway 1 is inconvenient if the windows are open. No screens on the windows. We slept just fine, traffic on highway decreases late into the night. Over all we would stay here again.

We enjoyed the place, it was comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The home is new and updated, and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. Our only disappointment was the hot tub wasn't very hot. We specifically found a rental with a hot tub as we were traveling during the cold season. We couldn't get it to turn up and when we asked for help there wasn't much help to remedy the problem. We didn't use the hot tub much as it was raining and too cold to be outside. Overall, this is a nice Airbnb and I would recommend it.

My friends and I enjoyed Sarah’s place. The highlight was definitely the hot tub. We noticed the outlets in the kitchen weren’t working so that was a bit inconvenient. Also when reserving the airbnb, I requested a 1pm check in and it was approved. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be promised and we had to wait until 4pm. Overall, Sarah was communicative and the location was nice.

My adult kids and I really enjoyed the few days we spent at Sarah‘s place in half Moon Bay. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to downtown restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the ping-pong table and the king size bed was extra comfortable. I recommend this place, although one thing you might not be able to tell from the photos is how close it is to a pretty busy road, which could be unpleasant for some people. For us it was no problem since you couldn’t really hear it from inside the house. Sara was also really responsive.

Loved the spa and all the amenities in the kitchen felt like you were at home. Sarah was very responsive to a small hiccup with the WiFi, but all was resolved. Would definitely stay here again.

I truly enjoyed my stay. Yes, it can be a little noisy given the location right on a main thoroughfare, but I kept a fan on and some light music most of the time and it really isn't that bad. It's an easy walk to the downtown area, and easy to drive to the local beaches. You do hear the upstairs neighbors moving around at times but I put in my earplugs at bedtime and it was just fine. I'd stay here again. Half Moon Bay is lovely.

Inside looks very much like the pictures. Nicely decorated and furnished, clean, great kitchen. I was disappointed at the location, right on Hwy 1. Made use of the hot tub unappealing to us, and we kept the blinds closed on the west side of the house as an extra barrier between us and the cars. Bedrooms at the east side of the house were cozy and fairly quiet. In a different location, this would’ve been five stars.

Perfect little place. We really loved this spot. It was in a GREAT location. Walking distance into downtown and the beach. Comfortable beds, having a yard for the dogs was a nice plus. Easy to cook in. Manager was easy to get ahold of and work with. The only hiccup we had was with the hot tub. After speaking with the manager we were able to get it fixed but we were only able to use it once due to it not being on when we arrived and it needing to reheat. That was a disappointment since it’s one of the reasons we chose this house. But honestly we had a great stay and would definitely come again. Parking is a bit of a tight squeeze if you have a large car! Highly recommend staying here!

Updated and beautiful unit with everything we needed for a long weekend away from home. Would have preferred to have been aware of the full pet rules prior to booking but we made it work . Also the back yard was not secure for our two small dogs to go unleashed as the gap between the gate and the ground was large enough for my two little ones to scoot under. Larger dog owners would not have this problem. I would book again but only if I was leaving my dogs at home.

We had an issue with hot tub but rental management was quite responsive. The only negative is that it is on highway 1 corner so a bit loud outside but once inside house it’s quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

I wish I could give this place and host 10 stars... The unit was absolutely spectacular, clean, and upgraded. For a 2 bedroom, it felt larger than that. The amenities were amply and the jacuzzi was amazing... I wish I could have stayed much longer.. Kitchen utensils such as plates, cups, pans, and spices were clean and presented very well. Everything about the unit was inviting and relaxing. For us, the location was perfect since we took a quick drive along the beach all the way to Santa Cruz without being impacted by so many roads to get to the fun stuff... I highly highly recommend this host to anyone thinking of renting this awesome place... Thank you Sarah.. I hope we can come back in the future...

Very comfortable, clean, well decorated two bedroom condo with a great private yard. Comfortable linens, extremely well appointed kitchen, TV in primary bedroom and living room. Amazing hot tub. Didn’t hear the owners upstairs much at all, the only reason I give it four stars is the location is right at a stoplight on the highway, and the traffic was louder than I would’ve liked. Otherwise, it’s a perfect location for going to the beach in the summer. Lots of room to accommodate four people and very pet friendly! It’s an adorable place.

I had a question about turning up heat in the hot tub and Sarah responded quickly. Positive: An sich war die Unterkunft ganz in Ordnung. Wir waren zufrieden. Negative: Die Vermieter verlangen eine hohe Reinigungsgebühr. Für den Preis verlange ich auch eine saubere Wohnung ! Es war dreckig. Auf dem Nachttisch lagen noch Kontaktlinsen vom Vermieter und überall Staub. Im Hottub schwammen Haare. Aufgrund der mangelnden Sauberkeit haben wir den Vermieter angeschrieben. Dieser sicherte uns eine Teilrückerstattung des Preises zu. Wir haben kein Geld zurückerhalten und der Vermieter meldete sich nicht mehr zurück. Einfach eine Frechheit !!

All the amenities were broken/non functional, bathroom was clogged, blinds were broken, no electricity in both the rooms. Some one had to come at 9.30 pm to fix the electricity. They put tape in the blinds and that too went off after 15 mins after technician left. Sarah was pretty unresponsive. Even after multiple calls and messages, they didn’t care to respond back. We had to leave a day before and cancel our trip as the place was not at all worth staying. When I asked for refund, they refunded me for a night out of two which I didn’t stay. The refund was 285 out of 840. Not at all a place to go. I would give 0 star and recommend not to visit this place. Save your money, time and trip

Positive: nice towels. Negative: The parking was horrible-very small space for car and difficult to maneuver in and out of driveway. No instructions in house on how to use heater, TV, oven, etc or check-out instructions Only one small (12X6X4) trash can for entire unit. No drawers or shelves in the bedrooms. We had to live out of our suitcases but there was NO PLACE to put them except the floor. Dishwasher was not emptied and 2 items in it were dirty. Silverware drawer was filthy with dried food in it. Window coverings were cheap and did not cover windows. No privacy since unit is on a busy corner. Outlets in the bedrooms did not work. Circuit breaker was tripped. No garage opener Unit is not close to town or beach. It is a 20-30 minute walk to each. It is on a busy intersection and 1 night there was an accident and emergency vehicles with flashing red lights in front of unit until 11 PM. One car almost landed in living room. We could hear the people upstairs walking around and it woke both of us at 5:30 one morning. bath tub very small.

Our neighbors we not very respectful of our stay, the took yo the whole driveway at times. We also had to knock on the neighbors to tell them that we planned a relaxing time but it just sounded like they were running around playing basketball. they had 3 kids. the property noted quiet. We were really disappointed tured in our last night from zero sleep. we also was not aware of it being a 2 story duplex.

Sarah’s place is close to Poplar beach and other places you will want to go. It is next to HWY 1 but we heard no noise from traffic in the house. :) The kitchen/living room are modern with beautiful blue decor that makes you feel very “beachy”. All the amenities you need. A hidden surprise was the cool slot machine in the garage. We enjoyed the hot tub but I suggest instructions on how to change temp :) The beds were comfy and it was nice to have a tv in one of the bedrooms. Both tv’s had all the streaming platforms. My only concerns were a few cleanliness issues which I don’t blame on the host. Maybe a chat with the cleaning service would help? The living room area didn’t seem like it had been vacuumed. Crumbs on carpet and dog hair on couch/pillows. (It is a pet-friendly place but still seemed excessive). We pulled out the couch bed and there was crumbs, hair ties, two kids toys. Tiny ant problem in the kitchen. Lastly, we heard a lot of noise from the other unit.

There are a few drawbacks though: the house is located very close to a busy and noisy road; also you can hear neighbors upstairs walking around their house starting early in the morning. At the same time it's a very good deal for the last minute reservation before the New Year celebration if you wish to spend some time near the ocean.

Thanks for helping make our HMB trip possible. The house was very modern and clean. We appreciate that it was also pet friendly so we could enjoy our drip with our dog. Walking distance to the beach and main street was convenient. The hot tub took a long time to warm up so we were not able to enjoy it on our first night which was a bummer as we only stayed 2 nights. I made sure to turn in on when we arrived just after 1pm and by 9pm it was only at 83 degrees. Not sure if it normally takes that long for this tub to warm up. Another bummer was waking up to neighbor noise both mornings which made the stay feel more like being in a hotel than in a house. Right after 6am on both days we woke up to thudding footsteps, loud conversations, and what I assume was the sounds of moving furniture in the unit above us.

Positive: Everything was new and very well equipped. Free coffee pods. Comfy beds, good AC Negative: The outside had lots of cobwebs and some spiders. It's right on Rt1, so the traffic noise is VERY loud all day unless you close all the windows, so the jacuzzi isn't relaxing.

As I told you the house was partially clean. House wasn’t clean as supposed to be, pictures of the couch with stains, towels with Stan as well, Spiders inside (shower,living room,parking garage) and outside the house (windows, main door entrance..), jacuzzi with previous host hairs, definitely we didn’t use it for that reason, washer was dirty, …. We didn’t say anything in the first day because first of all we didn’t want to anyone bother out anniversary during our stay and also because we didn’t know that we have to say something during this stay and not after. We request a fully refund of the cleaning fee that they have charged us because is not deserved. We don’t want to write a bad review because of this incident that maybe is not normal and owner doesn’t know and he/she should. Thank you and looking to it.

Cute place and conveniently located to the beach. The neighborhood felt safe. It is right next to a busy road but it really didn’t bother us much. If there are guests upstairs, you can hear them walking around. Easy access to San Francisco and other surrounding areas. Overall experience was wonderful and the host was very responsive to all our questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sarah's place in HMB! The townhome was recently remodeled and very nice. We had a blast playing ping pong tournaments in the evening and soaking in the hot tub. Sarah was very responsive to all our questions and was great to communicate with. Our only complaint about our stay was the location of the townhome. The home is a matter of feet off Highway 1 and the traffic and road noise was pretty loud.

This was a great place, located walking distance from both the beach and main street. the kitchen had all the appliances and cookware we could have wanted, and the beds were very comfortable. The backyard with a hit tub was such a nice bonus! One thing to keep in mind is that there is another unit right above this one, so you can hear the footsteps of the upstairs neighbors. This wasn't an issue for us, but could be if you're a light&early sleeper.

Sarah’s place was wonderful! The townhome was super clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the backyard with hot tub was so nice. The location was also amazing, it is walking distance to poplar beach and Main Street in half moon bay. The only negative is there was a ton of noise from the upstairs unit, you could hear basically every step someone would take up there. It is also right next to highway 1 but the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all. Overall a great place that we’d like to come back to!

This place was perfect! We could walk to Poplar Beach, and it was a quick drive to great restaurants and coffee shops. The included parking was super convenient and the hot tub was so lovely in the foggy evenings! The house was spacious and well-equipped, we were right at home with 4 adults sharing the space. The beds were comfy and the heaters worked well to keep the place warm in the HMB drizzly weather. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We booked this place because it’s very close to our favorite place in California, Redondo Beach, before any reviews were available. It’s a cute place, but has very old/cheap appliances (ie you can hear the dishwasher from both bedrooms and it does an ok job at cleaning dishes). We didn’t really use the hot tub because we were right on CA-1, and the traffic noise is pretty loud- even at night. The upstairs is also an Airbnb and the noise was also pretty bad. Luckily, the tenants were very nice and when we knocked on their door, they were very gracious when we brought up the jumping sounds we were hearing. Unfortunately, we had 2 incidents of the hot tub service person and a gardener that showed up unannounced in the backyard, which startled us. In case anyone doesn’t know, hosts should notify you if someone is coming to service a property. We had no notice and were met with a lot of antagonism from our hosts who were rather unresponsive in the first place. It ended up being a big dramatic mess that required Airbnb to step in. We were refunded our stay, but I would have rather enjoyed the final 3 days of my vacation stress free. Airbnb reassures me that the hosts are more aware of safety protocols and of Airbnb’s terms of service. I wish we had stayed elsewhere, but I doubt future tenants will experience our stress.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is like new and extremely comfortable. The yard and patio were beautiful with landscaping and the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked, better than other places we have rented by far. There is some road noise as it is next to the two lane highway, but the sleeping in the bedrooms was very quiet. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
