This place was beautiful, exactly as advertised. I traveled across country to have surgery in San Francisco. It was a perfect location away from the city but wasn’t a far drive at all. The neighborhood was very safe to walk around. The views beautiful. The kitchen perfect to make meals. All of the cooking supplies worked well. The rooms were spread out for privacy. Beds comfortable. My boyfriend, mom and aunt stayed and we all loved it!

We really enjoyed this location! We wanted to be both in Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, and this location was great for that. The house was very accurate to the pictures and clean. The big backyard worked well for our dogs and there were trails nearby that were great for walks. Andreia was super responsive and helpful. Note: my wife and I are both side sleepers so we found the bed in the upstairs master a bit firm. Would maybe work well for back sleepers!

We loved staying at this wonderful, clean, comfortable, well-supplied, and spacious home. And what views! We walked to the beach and took fabulous hikes in the mountains surrounding the neighborhood. We were delighted with every aspect of the house…. Nice places to sit and read or dine, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, washer and dryer, a lovely deck…. And have I mentioned the views? The location was also a great home base for us to go into San Francisco and down to Stanford and Palo Alto too.

We were visiting with our parents and sibling and liked that the bedrooms were all pretty secluded from the main area, so we all had our own space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the view from the living room was lovely.

The stay was nice. The stairs to get inside were incredibly steep and difficult for my grandmother to manage. We also had sent the owners a message asking to extend our stay another night, online it showed there was availability and we never got a response. Overall though it was nice, just outside of the city, beds were comfortable, everything was modern and very nice. The bedroom downstairs doesn’t feel like a basement bedroom which was nice.

We have stayed at many Airbnb's over the years. This is a rental that feels like the owners are trying to squeeze every dollar out of their guests rather than provide a comfortable experience. The kitchen is poorly stocked with cooking supplies, the fridge is completely bare, and the coffee provided is Folgers, instant, and Keurig. At $400+ a night I would expect hosts to provide some basic supplies to make cooking possible and decent coffee. A single night's charge could be used to substantially improve the kitchen for guests. Not advertised but there is zero cell service in the house or neighborhood. We had the unfortunate experience of staying during a massive storm and power went out for two days. No heat, hot water, wifi, and our food spoiled in the fridge. Andreia would not respond to requests for a refund for the nights that the place was unlivable. We were not pleased with the customer service, particularly at such a high price point.

Beautiful house with lovely open kitchen/dining/sitting space. Absolutely gorgeous flowers and landscaping. Well equipped for children. Close to the beach and mountain hikes. Comfy (not too soft) beds. Multiple sitting rooms/areas inside and out for good hang out areas. Downstairs bedroom very cozy and sweet, a bit musty, but I think to be expected in a basement area. Good washer/dryer. Big 4 poster bed in the master sort of filled up the room but pretty. Probably more walk to the beach than you'd want to do with a lot of gear or little kids, but there's a parking lot. It's not what I'd call a beach view, but you can see the (amazing) water from the corner of the porch. Fancy stove and fridge. Overall a really special place.

What a beautiful place! Our family loved the open space and the upstairs bedroom was perfect. Our kids (1 and 2yo) shared the bedroom with 3 beds with us so we didn’t need the other 2 bedrooms or bathrooms this year but this place gives space to grow for families of older kids or groups of friends! The beach was a nice walk away (about 10 minutes) and it was gorgeous! The beach was clean and beautiful- the sand was golden! Oh did I mention the view? Beautiful vista of the ocean and the bluffs surrounding the beach! What a perfect little escape…

This home was beautiful, immaculate, and exactly as described. The bedrooms are well situated so everyone has a space away from everyone else. Kitchen is well stocked and the view from the deck is fantastic. You can hear the waves! We had a little issue with the power going out (in the area, not because of the home) one of the days, and Andreia was incredibly helpful and immediately responsive, including sending a maintenance person over to check on us.

My partner and I and two pups needed a nearby getaway and this was the perfect spot! Close enough to us in the east bay, but far enough to feel like you’re on vacation. The space is as advertised, clean with lots of room to spread out or host a good sized party. The ocean view trails nearby were perfect for easy walks with the pups. The beach is the best beach I’ve been to in the Bay Area, it’s clean and the sand is smooth and falls off easily. The views and sunset were gorgeous to relax and watch. Views from the property were spectacular as well and if you opened the window or sat outside you can enjoy the ocean sounds. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our group. Nice open floor plan made it feel very spacious. Location is within walking distance of the beach and many hiking trails along the bluff. Property manager was quick to respond and bring us a new coffee maker when we realized the one in the kitchen was broken. The only negative for me was the King bed is very, very firm. I like firm but I would consider this more like hard. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

The landscaping of the front yard is unbelievable- rich in variety and well maintained. The views were spectacular and the location terrific to Montara State beach and hiking trails. This house was exactly as pictured. It was very comfortable for a full house (8 adults) including grandparents. Well stocked to prepare family meals. The walk to the beach is a half mile, so be prepared. Driving to the beach for those unable to handle the walk down/back up hill is easy. The location was cool in July which was a great respite from heat in other places. This is highly recommended if you are looking to relax.

The house is just as shown in the photos, and the view is fantastic! We loved the layout of the home - large gathering area, smaller side room with a tv, two bedrooms on the main floor at opposit ends of the house and one downstairs, giving everyone some privacy. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful yard. The location is convenient to San Fransisco, towns and sights to the south and east, with lots of hiking trails close by. We hope to return the next time we visit family in the area. The property manager was quick to respond to our questions.

The house was very spacious for all 6 of us to enjoy. There was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy the kitchen and dine together and the deck view was picturesque. We used the grill a couple of nights along with the fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook meals. We had one issue on Sunday morning when we woke there was no hot water for part of the house. After a quick phone call someone was there within 15 minutes to take care of it for us and was very kind in telling us things about the area and answering any questions we had. The neighborhood is very quiet and it only takes about 15 minutes to be into San Francisco from there. I would definitely stay here again!

The coastal road from Montara can get you into the heart of San Francisco in 20mins. The only problem was that our vacation there came to an end :)

A nice regional park two blocks away was a convenient place to walk the dogs and enjoy the amazing views, flora and fauna. Great photos. Kitchen and pantry fully stocked which made it easy to rustle up delicious food for breakfast and dinner. We had a great time playing ping pong 🏓 in the game room (garage). The deck is large and offers ocean views. The dogs loved vacationing with us. The yard is perfect for dogs 🐕. I was able to setup agility equipment and practice 😀 with my dogs. The only improvement would be to add a sports package on the television. At the time of our visit, bay area sports teams, Giants, A's and Warriors, were all at the top. We were thoroughly grateful for the escape from the central valley heat. The hosts made it easy to get the most out of our stay with excellent tips and instructions. Recommend highly.

We sincerely enjoyed our stay at this home. The layout is spacious and there are stunning views overlooking the ocean. The master bedroom and bathroom were great for my father’s privacy. We had plenty of space with the second upstairs bedroom and bathroom, but having the downstairs room and bathroom really gave us more breathing room for the four members of our party.

I would recommend this lovely home rental for oh so many reasons: our group of four friends had such an enjoyable time that two of us are ready to pack up & move to the neighborhood! Andreia gave us great ideas for hikes and we really enjoyed several hikes right there in Montara. Neighbors who walked their dogs in the (hilly) neighborhood were all super friendly. The house itself was absolutely perfect with a large kitchen & dining room, and comfortable beds with heavenly linens. We watched the sunset from the deck, heard owls at night, saw hawks in the late afternoon, and had delicious meals together. Andreia made it possible! Thanks so much for making our stay so perfectly wonderful!

Andreia’s home is stunning, comfortable, and a perfect home base to explore the beautiful coastline around Montara and Half Moon Bay. We throughly enjoyed our stay. There’s a gorgeous ocean view right from the living room and a nice outdoor space to relax. The house is only a few minutes walk away from the beach which was lovely to take a stroll to for sunset. This was our first trip from the East Coast to CA and we are grateful we chose Andreia’s Montara home. We explored from Muir Woods National Monument to Santa Cruz. My son surfed every morning just a few blocks from the house. What a perfect location for a family vacation. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was and the kitchen was fully equipped to make home meals when we were not eating out at the wonderful restaurants in Half Moon Bay.

The walk to the beach was perfect for my German sheltered and he loved running around and was always tired walking back up the hill to the house! He felt right at home, so that’s important! We loved our stay in Montara! The location was perfect. It was close enough to San Francisco if we desired to explore there, but we most enjoyed the access to the beaches, tidepools and outdoor activities along the coast. Half Moon Bay, which has plenty of restaurant options, a seafood market and grocery store, was only ten minutes away. The location was great. The house itself was perfectly sized for our family and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Our kids enjoyed the view and using the telescope to look for both whales and stars. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Highly disappointed to recieve no resolution on this matter.
Positive: My health and that of a family member became an issue and I tried to cancel several days before arrival. I am 72 and was coming alone for a personal retreat. I live several hours away. This was an uncancelable reservation, which I knew at the same time, there are sometimes exceptions. I asked for some refund, if possible and to be refunded the cleaning fee (over $200, taxes were close to another $200). The property manager was sympathetic and wrote that they would check with their partner and would get back to me. I didn't hear from them and emailed them twice more asking to just let me know. No response. Negative: If you say you are going to respond, then do so. It has now been over a week. I have sent additional requests for response, Booking sent a request as well. Nada. Recommendations happen when things go wrong as well and have to do with excellent responses, genuine intent to help and follow through. So disappointed and out close to $1400 for three nights. Shamefull.

There is such a great variety of food to get delivered, or you can cook in the very well-stocked kitchen. There is more than enough room for our family to have separate spaces, and to get together. This home is in a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful setting. The views are amazing out to the ocean and the mountainside. The landscape plantings on the property attract lots of hummingbirds and other birds. It's so easy to walk to trails, the beach and restaurants. It's an easy drive to other restaurants along the coast and the town of HMB. The beds were very nicely furnished with comfortable mattresses and bedding. The home was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated (loved the artwork) and the layout worked very well for privacy as well as being together. I wish we were still there! We hope to return soon.

This listing was a perfect home away from home. The spacious upper deck in the back offered views of the ocean as well as a mountainside. It was our favorite place to enjoy a meal or relax in the rocking chair. Our husky loved it too! The fully stocked kitchen provided everything we needed and more. Every bedroom and bathroom was beautifully decorated. Not only is it located in a quiet neighborhood but also only a 5” drive or short walk to the beach! We will definitely treasure the memories made for our first trip to Montara. We highly recommend this home for your beach destination.

The hose has a 1000 piece puzzle and my husband and mom and I bonded putting this puzzle together! My family had a wonderful relaxing 3-night stay at Andreia's Ocean & Mountain View Home in Montara. The views, from the main living room and second floor deck, of the coast, the hills and fog coming and going were beautiful and made it feel like vacation. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and down to the beach (although important to be careful when crossing Hwy 1). We found some good restaurants and additional beach walks just a few minutes south in El Granada, Princeton and Half Moon Bay. The home is well equipped and the beds were all comfortable. Andreia was responsive whenever we had questions. We hope to stay here again!

This was such a lovely place!! It was exactly as described in the listing. You can see Montara Beach from the balcony, and the surrounding area is calm and peaceful. We came mid-week, and the beach/town were not crowded at all. The house is close to Half Moon Bay, Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, etc. We had a great time going to look at tidepools during the day and coming back to rest in a peaceful space at night. We did have a bit of a mix-up when we arrived at the place, but Andreia and the property management company were easily accessible and very accommodating. They definitely contributed to a pleasant stay!

We found mold in the upstairs bathroom the first night we were there. I understand how mold can grow in shower areas, however during these pandemic times, everyone is advertising how they are using intense and deep cleaning for there homes. This being the case I don't understand how this could of been missed for quite some time. This was not new growth, it had been growing for a while. It spanned about 2 feet where the shower wall meets the ceiling, plus many other spots on the ceiling and shower walls. I sent a text to Matt and he responded quickly. He came over shortly after and tested and then cleaned the mold off. The house was nice as well as the location, but I don't feel like we should be able to find all that mold growing during these times. Especially given the price we paid to stay there.

Beautiful home, ocean views, roomy and spacious, we had a wonderful stay here! About the house: 3 bed/3 bath Two stories, with one bed/bath off the kitchen and one bed/bath on the other side of the house. There is a separate bed/bath downstairs near the garage. The garage has a ping pong table and lounge area. Deck on second floor with view of the ocean in the distance. House is .5 mile from Highway 1 so easy to get to the coast/beaches. The house was immaculately clean and is exactly as described. Mama and sisters stayed here for our first gathering since COVID after being fully vaccinated and it was wonderful. The home is very spacious so it worked well for each of us to have our own space. The downstairs bed/bath was perfect for one of us who has a different sleep schedule so that accommodated them very well. The bathrooms and kitchen had all the amenities as well as pantry goodies as needed. Hosts were lovely to communicate with and so easy and accommodating. One of the days was a bit cold/rainy so instead of going out to dinner, we stayed in and decorated the table up with my scarf and candles found throughout the house. BBQ'd on the grill and had - what we decided was - the best dinner of the weekend full of laughter, sharing, and fun. We watched movies on the TV two nights. We enjoyed some ocean views from the deck. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is surrounded with little sitting nooks and beautiful foliage and succulents all around. Montara is a quaint little town and many places still closed from COVID, so we drove to Half Moon Bay a few times, hung out at Pomponio Beach and Rockaway Beach, and mostly just laughed, hugged, and hung out. Thank you!

A few things I didn’t see in other reviews that should be noted: It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach across a major highway but easy to navigate once we figured it out! The cell phone reception is awful, but wifi worked great! The layout of the house is as follows: master bedroom next to kitchen and “kids” room directly next to TV, 3rd bedroom downstairs next to garage. Was not ideal with little ones as there was no place to relax after they went to sleep without worrying about being right outside their room. There were lots of noises throughout the house at night which took some getting used to. Lastly, the air conditioning was funky. It was cool outside (50s/60s) but freezing in the house. The instructions were to keep the house at 66 which was pretty cold for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, and seasonings. There is a great convenience store super close by that looks deceiving but has everything you would need for a weekend. Loved half-moon bay and would absolutely go again!

The pictures truly represent the wonderful space and spectacular views of this classy, beach-style home. Very spacious so guests can gather together in the open kitchen/dining/living room or find smaller spaces to relax. Love the downstairs ping pong table room for competitive tournaments! The yard is perfect for dogs to run around and there is plenty of parking. Perfect place for our family to meet and spend a few days together. ♥️

Best Air B n B experience we’ve had! Location is awesome (a quick walk to the beach, and multiple hikes in the area), the neighborhood is charming and quiet; the house is beautiful, clean and well-appointed (including a bidet in the main bedroom!), and the proximity to San Fran is terrific (20 min drive). Hope to stay here again! (And ps- the hot water has clearly been fixed because it worked perfectly fine the entire time we were there.)
