The house is in a beautiful location. It’s an old home but clean. You share the property with the maintainer , he was great, and another person. The beds were comfy. The house was well equipped with what we needed. The only concerns : The AC units are very very loud so if you need quiet to sleep this may be an issue. The main living space in in the middle of the home so you can’t sit on the sofa and see the ocean .

Our stay was a perfect after Christmas getaway with our family. We arrived while the owner was also staying on the property and she was very kind and had great suggestions for other beaches and things to do. We had no issues, and found the house to be perfectly stocked with towels, linens, and all our kitchen needs. The spa was cleaned every other day during our stay, and was enjoyed each evening. The patio was a wonderful spot to watch the passing whales, enjoy the sunset, and eat our meals. We had a great week and would love to return again soon!

What a wonderful place to stay! There were 5 of us, all women. There are technically 5 beds, one of which is the pull out sofa. It slept like a pull out sofa. Lori and Brad were very helpful and kind. We had an issue with a tripped GFC in one of the bathrooms late at night. I texted Brad to let him know. They came in the next morning and took care of the problem. Lori even brought us homemade cookies for our trouble. Yes, it could use some TLC but nothing major - just minor fixes (improvements). The hot tub was fantastic!!! The only "MINOR" downfall is that you can't access the beach right off of the lani. It's too steep (drop off) to the ocean. But, it wasn't far to walk to get to it - just out the gate and to the right and we were there. It was an amazing view from the home. We saw rainbows everyday and wonderful sunsets and sun rises. We definitely recommend this home for your vacation!!!

This was a great house in a wonderful area of the north shore with fantastic views. The house had most everything we needed and plenty of room for all of us. My biggest complaint, however, is the property was not as advertised. The pictures on the listing show direct access to the beach. However, due to significant erosion, you cannot access the beach directly from this property. There is more than a fifteen foot drop to the beach that begins directly on the other side of the deck where the sand is covered with black tarps and boards to hold it down from the deck to the shore line. To access the beach, you have to walk 100 yards or more in either direction to find a public entrance to the beach. It is our understanding from talking with the locals in the area, the erosion has been ongoing for years. The pictures featured in the listing must have been taken years ago. While not nearly as major in comparison, the pictures showed an outdoor shower, which did not exist. This property is a great property and offers wonderful views. It just did not offer what we were looking for nor what we were led to believe when we booked it. I would have liked to have known there was not direct beach access when we booked the property to make the decision whether the other positives offered were worth not having the direct beach access as pictured in the listing. It was extremely disappointing to walk in and see right off the bat that we could not access the beach from the property directly. There were other properties available in the same price range that we could have elected to book had we known. If you want to sit on the deck and listen to the waves crash, in a quiet north shore neighborhood that is close to some of the most beautiful stretches of beach, it is a great property. If you are looking for easy beach access, you will not find it here despite the appearance otherwise.

Will stay again. Location is perfect and the deck and hot tub are unbeatable. Fully stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. Great wifi. Being right on the beach during winter months can make for some loud waves all day, but the beauty is worth it.

Our family had such a great time at this place. The view of the ocean was so magical! Brad and Laurie were amazing property managers and Laurie’s cookies were amazing! Brad helped fix one of the AC units and Laurie was so courteous when we had to overnight a package to the property. The house was great! It was clean and well maintained. We spent 80% of our time on the deck watching the surfers and the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The hot tub was an added bonus as well. The north shore has a much more laid back and quiet vibe to it that makes it more magical. I would 100% stay here again in the future.

Positive: Location and view were great. The house was extremely well stocked, better than most. Property managers Brad and Laurie were outstanding. They were kind, welcoming and responsive. We really appreciated Laurie's suggestions for local restaurants and things to see. Brad promptly addressed the various maintenance issues with the house. Our experience would not have been positive without them. I can't praise them enough. Negative: The owners did not communicate well. I had a few questions prior to deciding on this property, I never received a response. I suggest that the owners consider having potential guests communicate directly with the property managers who are very responsive. The house is in need of some basic maintenance. Master bedroom door was missing slats, so had no privacy. Lost power twice when using hair dryer. Window screens and screen door are in disrepair, gives a negative impression when you arrive. Umbrella on deck was broken. The hallway outside the second bathroom only had a screen door leading to the deck, nothing to prevent an intruder from coming into the hallway from the exterior of the house. We didn't safe using it a night.

Andreia's place was exactly as shown on Airbnb. There are three bedrooms with 2 king and 1 queen comfortable mattresses. The bonus room off the kitchen has a double bed. The back porch was the gem of the property. We spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying the view. The house was spotless and well appointed. We have rented several properties on the north shore but have never had a house so well stocked with everything you need to cook. From spices to pots and pans there wasn't anything we needed. Beach is a swimmable beach with waves large enough for beginner surfers this time of year. Sunset beach is within walking distance for calmer waters for children to swim. We were a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Well stocked with beach chairs, surfboard, SUP, boogie boards. Outdoor shower was nice to wash off sand from beach. Lulu the caretaker was awesome.

Positive: The location was perfect and it fit all of our family members. We wanted to be right on the beach and my kids loved it. I especially loved sitting on the deck in the evening and early morning to just listen and watch the waves. It was nice to have beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella and beach toys with this rental. The hosts, Brad and Laurie, were amazing! If we needed anything, they were there and so friendly. Also, Laurie makes some dang good cookies. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Negative: The kitchen needed a little better lighting for cooking.

Serene home in the perfect location! Our family of 8 loved the hot tub, ocean views from the back deck and being steps away from the beautiful North Shore beaches. House is fully stocked with beach and kitchen essentials. The home is minutes away from awesome snorkeling spots and Waimea Valley. The best part was falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. Friendly caretakers and responsive host. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Termites, cockroaches and faulty plumbing still did not ruin our vacation. There is a caretaker named Brad who Lives in a back house and is awesome. He took care of everything including trying to reach a plumber when showers plumbing erupted with feces and toilet paper. Here was the problem .We called and emailed the owner several times only to be ignored. Finally the rudest customer support person contacted me and accused of us causing the toilet overflow. He then said if you don’t like the smell, go somewhere else… really??? The owner finally took over the call and was more understanding. I asked him for some compensation became se the smell of poop was so strong for 1 1/2 days, it literally was unbearable. Waiting on resolution. Overall, great location(10) , great caretaker, and family had fantastic vacation in spite of termites, cockroaches and plumbing explosion

We had a great time staying at Andreia’s place. The location is right on the beach, access to the beach is less than 100ft around the corner. We could watch our kids from the deck enjoying the water and the waves. Saw a turtle 20ft off the shore on our last day! Place was clean and well stocked. Everything we needed was available. Nearby beaches were very short distance. Town of Haleiwa nearby had a lot of great restaurants. Shopping for food was very close as well. We had the best Spring Break!

While we had an incredible time at this Airbnb given it’s amazing location right on the beach on the North Shore, we were extremely disappointed to find that the images (which now seem updated) of outdoor space did not match the actual outdoor space at all. It appears the deck in the photos was lost in a previous storm and replaced with a much smaller deck and less premium furnishings, instead of a large shared table and and large cabana for cover from rain / sun, there were two picnic tables with a small umbrella that provided little to no protection. This is an important detail to note as there is no formal indoor table. We had several nights with rain and the tables outside were soaked with no proper protection. Pros: - amazing location - amazing views - hot tub is very enjoyable - decently supplied unit Cons: - no outdoor shower for your unit - laundry shared with neighbour - premium price without premium finish (ex. No linen sheets/towels as described in the ad)

absolutely beautiful location. feels like the house is sitting on top of the ocean . we were a party of 3 families with 3 couples and 3 children. 2 infants and a toddler .The house was very convenient for our travels in north oahu.Very close to haleiwa town. The house had beech supplies like chairs and towels etc. The kitchen had salt sugar and some condiments and we saw a hamper with some local hawaiin coffee chocolates etc. overall I would rate this house highly for its location and convenience. they can improve on cleanliness though. The window shutters were dusty and some corners of the floor was grimy. overall there is a big room and 2 small rooms. bathrooms were clean .Would definitely recommend this home.

Talk about the unforgetable North Shore experience, wow, Andreia's house was PERFECTLY located right on world-famous Sunset Beach. The sunsets were incredible and the crashing of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. Despite what it looks like, you can not access the beach directly from the back patio however the walk to the beach only takes a couple of minutes and was NEVER a problem for us. The house sports a very nicely appointed kitchen with just about everything you would need to prepare and enjoy all your meals here. They also have an outside grill which works great and lots of little things like games and an Amazon Stick installed on the TV in the den. The laundry machines are HUGE and can handle an enormous load. They even have surfboard racks and some sand toys and snorkeling gear for kids. The on-site managers are professional, friendly and always ready to help. All in all, it was a great experience staying here and we'd happily return for even more great memories.

This place is a great little cottage on top of the ocean. Would happily stay here again. Pros - very short walk to the beach. Comfortable beds. Amazing brand-new hot tub. Plenty of beach gear like snorkels, masks, boogie boards, chairs) available. Very quiet neighborhood. Great sunset views. Great night sky views. Wonderful onsite hosts. Could walk to multiple locations along Sunset Beach. Short drive to Waimea Bay and Valley. Short drive to Haleiwa. Get a shaved ice there for sure. Cons - Common to older/rustic homes, it's hard to walk around, go to the bathroom, open/close doors without it being noisy enough to wake others in the middle of the night. The A/C units are very loud. BBQ grill was very dirty and grill brush was unusable. Very expensive grocery shopping. Limited eating out options. But all in all a very short 'con' list. We liked it here a lot. At all times we could see the ocean and smell the air and it was very easy to enjoy the tranquility of Hawaii.

This house was amazing! The location cannot be beat. My family and I haven’t taken a trip together in over a decade so it was very special for us to stay here together. The back deck was the star of the show. Our mouths literally dropped when we arrived and realized how close to the water we were. You could see amazing surfers all day long shredding the waves. We BBQd several nights. We had sunset dinners on the deck every evening and stargazed all night in the hot tub. The outdoor shower made it easy to rinse off outside after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. The TV was setup with Netflix and all our streaming desires. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was clean. The ACs definitely helped keep things cool inside. I was nervous since my parents had never stayed in an Airbnb before but they both loved it and said they would love to come back one day. Thank you so much to Brad and Laurie for being such amazing and accommodating hosts. Mahalo!

Beautiful ocean view and perfect location for those looking to stay the away from the Waikiki crowd for the majority of your vacation but still have access to beautiful beaches, points of interest, and conveniences. The host was very accommodating overall. Our mom developed a mobility issue during the trip, so with our late flight out, the host immediately agreed to let us check out late so our mom could stay at the house until we left for the airport. The living AC was acting up, but host and the resident caretakers repaired it multiple times for us in a timely manner. The doors to two of the bedrooms are sticky or not well-oiled, so operating them was very noisy and disturbed those who slept in the common areas. House felt very clean and homey and was stocked with the basics, including some beach equipment. We would stay here again!

My family kind of felt like we were cat fished because the house isn’t exactly on the beach, & that the outdoor shower is tiinnyyy & all the trees around it need to be trimmed. It didn’t matter tho, b/c Sunset Beach is less than a 10 min walk away, & only one small person used the outdoor shower. This house is honestly great, it’s fully stocked, the neighbors are super quiet & the sound of the waves is THE BEST. The beds are comfyish, It’s decorated nicely, but I wish it was updated, especially the kitchen. I only met Brad, not Laurie, & he was super chill & very accommodating with us. We would totally stay there again, we were sad to leave!!

This place was amazing! Right on the beach, which was mostly empty the entire time. Great layout, clean, everything we could have hoped for an more. Do yourself a favor and stay here instead of Waikiki. We ventured out there because we forgot how crowded it was. Never went bad the entire 10 days we stayed. North Shore is more of the laid back lifestyle you see in the movies. And this place caters to that lifestyle.

We really enjoyed our week at the house. The oceanfront setting is idyllic and we spent hours in the hot tub watching the surfers at the various breaks in front. Beach erosion doesn’t allow for access from the yard but there is beach access literally right outside the house. The house itself is well appointed, very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything one would need. There is another unit on property but it didn’t pose a problem for us. This house was a great for for our family of 3 and a stunning view. We would book this again!

We absolutely loved staying at Andreia’s place! We very much enjoyed being on the North Shore instead of in Waikiki. The house was clean and stocked. The hosts, Brad and Laurie, were great! The view from the back deck is awesome. There is no beach access from the house but it’s a short walk away. My kids loved seeing the lizards, geckos, and snails. There are 3 beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, a cooler and beach toys to use for a day at the beach. There was even a booster for the car that was left behind. We hope to stay here again.

The location of this North Shore beach home is fabulous! The view from deck is gorgeous from this ocean front home. The hosts were very quick to respond and had great communication. Check in was easy and we had in the info early so we could access the property at check in time. Just a short drive to Sharks Cove and the infamous North Shore food trucks.

The best location ever! So much wonderful outdoor space. We spent a week here and can't wait to come back. The place was well stocked and really appreciated the AC's in the bedrooms. Outdoor shower and bathroom were great too. Overall a wonderful place!

Great views, lots of surfers. Parking is tight, sun hits the deck in afternoon, with very little shade so it gets hot when sitting out towards the beach. The hot tub was a deciding factor for this house so we had options not to get sandy from the beach however, it was broke the whole time we stayed. Beach access was not great due to no stair access to get back up to the house.

Perfect Location
We had an amazing stay at this house right near Sunset Beach. It's perfectly located with beautiful views and is right on the beach. Hosts/property manager were excellent. Great spot to enjoy the north shore!

We had a wonderful trip to this darling Rocky Point beachfront cottage- house was darling, location ideal and hot tub INCREDIBLE after a long day at the beach. The master bedroom views of the ocean were unreal- waking up to panoramic ocean views started the days off just right! We will be back- Thank you Matt & team for making the stay so enjoyable!
